Islamabad: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto on Tuesday stated that Pakistan was ready to provide support to Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism.

Bhutto-Zardari expressed his views by saying, "Pakistan has asked Afghanistan to play its role in curbing terrorism." Bhutto-Zardari said in reference to the attack on the JUI-F workers' convention in Bajaur, "I condoled with JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman over the Bajaur blast."

"Our stance on terrorism is straightforward. We abstain from bloc politics, he continued.

Foreign Minster stated: "The negotiations are moving forward gradually over the caretaker setup."

Benazir Bhutto, his late mother and former prime minister, was honored with a wax figure on Sunday at a ceremony held at Madame Tussauds in Dubai.

Bilawal said she was a symbol of "democracy and equal rights for women."

The foreign minister stressed in his remarks on the occasion that the wax figure was an appropriate homage to Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

He proceeded by saying that she left a lasting legacy as the first female prime minister from the Muslim world, inspiring young people in general and women in particular.

Further commenting, he said that Pakistan's former prime minister had consistently and ardently pushed for international peace, stability, and collaboration.
