Brazilian police take action against drug dealers, 45 killed

Brazil: Following the death of an officer in Brazil, police have launched raids in three states, resulting in the killing of fifteen individuals and the arrest of several others.
A substantial number of firearms were also seized during the operations.
In response to the action against drug dealers, the police conducted a major operation in three states.
According to media reports, in Rio de Janeiro, suspects engaged in a prolonged shootout with the police, resulting in the death of ten individuals.
Bahia and Rio de Janeiro are known for having the second and third-highest police killings in Brazil, according to the Brazilian Forum on Public Safety.
Officials report that nineteen individuals were killed in Bahia, where several individuals protested against police actions in the city of Gurugua.
Meanwhile, the police operation in Sao Paulo continues, resulting in sixteen fatalities, and numerous suspects have been arrested.
Large quantities of drugs and a significant number of weapons have been seized from those apprehended.
