Prime Minister will send the summary of the dissolution of National Assembly to the President Dr. Arif Alvi on August 09.


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif announced the date of National Assembly dissolution on August 09.
According to details, Prime Minister hosted a dinner in honor of the allies in which the country's political situation and upcoming general elections were discussed.
It has been reported that Shehbaz Sharif in the meeting, gave the date of August 09 to the allies to dissolve the National Assembly.
It is further said that the premier while talking to the coalition leaders said that he will send the summary of the dissolution of National Assembly to the President Dr. Arif Alvi on August 09.
Prime Minister said that there will be a consultation for the name of caretaker Prime Minister from today (Friday) which will be concluded in next two to three days.
It should be noted that the term of the current National Assembly is ending on August 12 at 12:00am.
Few days earlier, Federal Minister for Water Resources Khurshid Shah also said in a statement that the summary of dissolution of National and Provincial Assemblies will be sent to President on August 09.
On the other hand, the Election Commission said that if the assembly is dissolved by August 12, then the election will be held before October 11.
