The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had proposed a judge for the Judicial Conference.


Islamabad: Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ), Humayun Dilawar, who sentenced former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan to three years in prison, has reportedly left for London, on Sunday.
Details indicate that ADSJ Humayun Dilawar, who sentenced PTI Chairman to three years in prison after finding him guilty of "corrupt practices" in the Toshakhana case, has departed for London in order to attend a judicial conference at the University of Hull from August 5 to 13.
It has now come to light that judge Humayun Dilawar's name was added to the list of participants for the August 4 legal conference in England. The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had proposed a judge for the Judicial Conference.
The session judge received a letter from the high court's registrar on August 4.
Furthermore, In the letter, it was suggested that Judge Humayun Dilawar be used for training instead of Judge Faizan Haider. The letter further stated that Judge Humayun Dilawar will enroll in training at the University of Hull in London from August 5–13.
Earlier, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested from Zaman Park.
According to police sources, Chairman PTI is likely to be transferred to Attock.
While the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team will arrest Chairman PTI.
The request to dismiss the hearing of the PTI Chairman's Toshkhana case was rejected.
Judge Hamayun Dilaawar re-emphasized that the accused has been proven guilty of the charges.
District and Sessions Courts in Islamabad have announced a verdict on the Tosha Khana Misappropriation case against PTI Chairman.

Judge Hamayun Dilaawar ruled that the accused has been proven guilty, as he provided false details to the Election Commission.
PTI chairman was found involved in corrupt practices, and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of the IG Islamabad.
Furthermore, a fine of one hundred thousand rupees has been imposed on Imran Khan.
Failure to pay the fine will result in an additional six months of imprisonment.
