Islamabad: Farewell meetings of National Assembly and Federal Cabinet have been convened today (Wednesday) at the end of five-year term.

A motion of thanks has been on the agenda in almost every session since the President's address but has not been passed by the House. There is no legislation on today's agenda.
On the other hand, the farewell meeting of the federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also been called today in which the dissolution of the assemblies and other issues will be reviewed.
The federal cabinet will also review the future political and economic situation.
In the meeting, the federal cabinet will approve the pending agenda. The decisions of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), Cabinet Committee for Disposal of Legislative Cases (CCLC) and Council of Common Interest (CCI) will also be approved by the cabinet.
