Islamabad: The scheduled meeting between Prime Minister's nominee Shahbaz Sharif and opposition leader Raja Riaz for consultations on the PM's nomination has been postponed once again.
According to sources, due to Raja Riaz's busy schedule, he will not be able to meet the Prime Minister today.
Similarly, the meeting was also canceled yesterday due to his prior engagements.
The consultation meeting between Prime Minister's nominee Shahbaz Sharif and opposition leader Raja Riaz was supposed to take place today.
Three names were proposed from both sides, and one name will be announced after the consultation.
On the other hand, on the Prime Minister's directive, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has prepared a summary for the analysis of the National Assembly, which has been sent to Shahbaz Sharif.
He will forward the summary to the President of the nation.
It is noteworthy that Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah had stated that among the shortlisted names for the Prime Minister's nomination, the name of former Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh is also included.
