A 14-member provincial caretaker cabinet is likely to be formed after the name of caretaker chief minister is finalized.


Quetta: The assembly of Balochistan will be dissolved today (Saturday) after completing its five-year term.
According to details, only a few hours are left for the completion of five-year term of Balochistan Assembly. However, no meeting between the Chief Minister and the opposition leader has come up to finalize the name of the caretaker Chief Minister in the province.
If Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo does not dissolve the assembly, then this assembly will automatically end after 12 pm on Saturday.
According to media reports, Chief Minister Balochistan, who has been staying in Islamabad for several days, is consulting with the leaders of other political parties after taking the opinion of his own party (Balochistan Awami Party) BAP leaders.
It has also been reported that the names of former National Assembly member Usman Badini from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) and Member of Provincial Assembly Hamal Kalmati from Balochistan National Party (BNP0 and Ali Hassan Zahri from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) were nominated for caretaker chief minister.
Apart from this, the name of former bureaucrat Shabbir Mengal is also under consideration.

It should be noted that earlier on Friday, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori dissolved the Sindh Assembly on the advice of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori signed the summary to dissolve of Sindh Assembly, along with which the provincial cabinet was dissolved. The Sindh Assembly lasted for four years, 11 months and 29 days.
