Users to get larger photos, videos preview in chats
Facebook-owned messaging application—WhatsApp has rolled out two key features for iOS users. With the latest update, users will now be able to see larger image and video previews.

The app has now rolled out a bigger frame for videos and photos so that nobody is left out.
"Photos and videos in WhatsApp are now even bigger, so no one will be left out of the picture! That's the perfect reason to smile," the messaging app announced on Twitter.

Recently, the instant messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out a beta version for Android and has submitted the update through the Google Play Beta Program — bringing the version up to 2.21.9.3.
WABetaInfo said the feature was still under development, but some new details came to light. "WhatsApp is working on an alert to introduce the feature when it will be enabled."
However, some WhatsApp users on iOS have started receiving a new update that brings two major changes. The update has improved the display of sent media.
In another update, WhatsApp under iOS version 2.21.71 now allows all participants in a group to change the Disappearing Messages setting by default however earlier the platform only lets admins control Disappearing Messages. But, a group admin can still change group settings to allow only admins to turn disappearing messages on or off. The admins can control by changing the “Edit Group Info” setting, as per the changelog. WhatsApp has given both options so that users can choose any one feature as per their preference.
Apart from Disappearing Messages, WhatsApp is also testing the ability to bring disappearing photos to feature to both Android and iOS platforms.
