Gwadar: One terrorist was killed and three others suffered injuries during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Gwadar on Sunday.
The security forces conducted the IBO in the Gwadar district, according to the military's media affairs wing.
The suspects launched indiscriminate fire when they saw the security forces, which was met with retaliation.
Moreover, one terrorist suspect was killed instantly by the crossfire, while three others were injured.
According to the ISPR, there was some time-long crossfire between the army and the militants, and now the area is being cleaned to get rid of any leftover terrorists that may have been there.
Earlier, the security forces on Friday conducted a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) against terrorists in the Mazaband Range area of District Kech, Balochistan on August 10-11.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two terrorists were killed, one was injured, and a sizable stockpile of weapons and ammo was also recovered.
The killed terrorists were involved in the targeting of innocent civilians and law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
Security forces remained committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism and thwarting nefarious designs of the enemies of Pakistan at all costs.
