Islamabad: Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has taken the oath as the caretaker prime minister of Pakistan on Monday, August 14 (today).
According to details, Anwar-ul-Haq took the oath under the leadership of President Dr. Arif Alvi.
Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the new caretaker prime minister for taking up the responsibilities.
He is the eighth caretaker prime minister of Pakistan.
Earlier on Saturday, it was decided that Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Anwar-ul-Haq Kaakar will be the caretaker prime minister of Pakistan. Shehbaz Sharif and opposition leader Raja Riaz held a consultation regarding caretaker prime minister.
