Lahore: In the region of Kashmir, Pakistan's 77th Independence Day is being commemorated with fervor and enthusiasm.
The celebration began at midnight, with the spirited chants of "Pakistan Zindabad" resonating across the landscape, and the valley coming alive with the profound sentiment of Kashmir aligning itself with Pakistan.
Despite the challenging circumstances marked by the presence of Indian security forces and restrictive measures, the resilient Kashmiri populace is marking Pakistan's Independence Day with a sense of pride and dignity. The display of this sentiment has been evident through the widespread unfurling of Pakistani flags, the placement of posters and banners on walls, and the vocal expression of resistance slogans against India's unlawful occupation.
Kashmiris from every nook and cranny have taken to the streets, proudly clutching the Pakistani flag, embodying their unyielding spirit for Kashmir's self-determination and its integration with Pakistan.
The fervent sloganeering in favor of Kashmir's liberty and solidarity with Pakistan resounded through the air. Special prayers were offered in mosques for the progress and stability of Pakistan, and gatherings were convened to commemorate the occasion. The passionate observance of Pakistan's Independence Day by the Kashmiri people had been a notable and heartening spectacle.
Conversely, Kashmiri leaders once again resolved to mark August 15 as a "Black Day," a tradition upheld annually.
The observance involves raising black flags, donning black armbands, and staging protests to convey a resolute message to India that, despite enduring oppression and hardships, the Kashmiri populace remains unwavering in their pursuit of freedom and self-determination.
