Petroleum products import decreases by 40%
The import of petroleum products reached Rs252 billion in June.
Karachi: Pakistan recorded a decrease of 40% in the imports of petroleum products on an annual basis during June.
According to the statistics released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the total value of imports of petroleum products was recorded at 418 billion rupees in June 2022.
Furthermore, in June of this year, petroleum products decreased by 40% and reached Rs252 billion.
On the other hand, a big drop in crude oil prices has been recorded in the global market.
According to the details, the price of crude oil reached $85.74 per barrel after a decrease of one percent in the Brent oil market today, while the US crude oil decreased by 1.3 percent to $82.12 per barrel.
