Famous singer passes away after battling kidney disease
Singer's brother Haider Abbas confirms Asad Abbas's demise.


Karachi: Renowned vocalist Asad Abbas, known for his accolades, has succumbed to kidney disease.
Asad Abbas was suffering from kidney complications.
Last night, Asad Abbas fell into a coma due to deteriorating health.
The confirmation of singer Asad Abbas' demise was provided by his brother Haider Abbas.
It's worth noting that in recent days, Pakistani singer Asad Abbas was awaiting government aid as he battled kidney issues.
Doctors had advised him for a kidney transplant due to his kidney ailment, requiring a sum of up to five crore rupees.
Earlier, in the morning show," Pakistani singer Asad Abbas' health condition was discussed along with renowned singer Madiha Naqvi.
Asad Abbas had participated in a program held at Rawalpindi's Dialysis Center and had informed his loved ones about his health condition.
Concerning his health, Asad Abbas mentioned that his current state of health involves undergoing dialysis four to five times a week, an increase from the previous two times a week.
During the program, he shared that he finds Allah's contentment in everything.
He revealed that seven years ago, he was diagnosed with kidney issues due to high blood pressure.
Upon undergoing tests, it was revealed that both his kidneys had failed.
For around two and a half years, he underwent dialysis at a private hospital in Islamabad. Afterward, he was advised for a kidney transplant.
His elder brother donated a kidney for him after their family's tests, and he underwent treatment for two years.
However, his transplanted kidney also failed after some time, leading to his struggle with dialysis until his demise.
