WhatsApp allow users to send HD images
These HD images will appear with a small HD logo on the bottom left hand side.

California: Meta owned messaging application WhatsApp has announced to roll out the feature to send images in High Definition (HD) quality.
In a Facebook post, Chief Executive Organizer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg said that the feature of HD photos is being added to WhatsApp.
This new feature will help users save the high definition resolution of the image, whether the image is sent from Android, iOS or the web.
These HD images will appear with a small HD logo on the bottom left hand side.
The feature will be visible as an 'HD' icon (next to the editing tools) after the application is updated. After tapping this feature, the option of standard quality or HD quality will appear.
