Mumbai: The Indian Cricket Board announced the 17-member squad for the Asia Cup.

According to the details, the Indian cricket team for the Asia Cup has been announced which will be led by Rohit Sharma while KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah have made come back in the team.

According to the announcement, the squad includes Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Surya Kumar Yadav, Tilak Verma, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Shirdal Thakur.

Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna have also managed to make it to the 17-player squad while Sanju Samson has been included in the squad as a back-up player.

It should be noted that the Asia Cup will be played from August 30 to September 17 in which teams from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal will participate along with Pakistan. The Asia Cup match between Pakistan and India will be played on September 02.
