Quetta: Governor Balochistan Abdul Wali Kakar on Monday administered oath to members of newly appointed five-member interim cabinet on Monday.

Details indicate that Capt. (Ret.) Zubair Jamali, Prince Ahmed Ali, Amjad Rasheed, Abdul Qadir Baloch, and Jan Achakzai are among the caretaker cabinet members of Balochistan who have taken the oath.

According to sources, Jamal Khan Raisani, son of Balochistan Awami Party chairman Siraj Khan Raisani, declined to take the oath and did not participate in the ceremony.

Earlier, the interim Sindh Chief Minister Justice Retired Maqbool Baqar has taken oath in a ceremony held at the Governor’s House on Thursday.

The oath-taking ceremony was also attended by the outgoing chief minister Murad Ali Shah.

The Interim CM Justice Retd Maqbool Baqar was sworn in by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori.

Furthermore, guard of honor was also presented at the Governor's House to the departing chief minister, Murad Ali Shah.

Justice Maqbool Baqar is a retired judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He was born on April 5, 1957, in Karachi, Pakistan. He received his LLB. degree from the University of Karachi in 1979.

Justice Baqar began his legal career as an advocate in the Sindh High Court in 1981. He became Additional Judge High Court on 26 August 2002. He served as a judge of the Sindh High Court from 2002 to 2015.
