The series trophy between Pakistan and Afghanistan was displayed on Monday in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, in an extremely cordial setting as Afghanistan's captain Hashmatullah Shahidi gave his counterpart Babar Azam a traditional Afghan garment.
The beautiful trophy was unveiled by both captains, as the trophy also represented Afghanistan’s culture.
The trophy was created from Afghan-made marble, wood, and gemstones that represented the country's heritage.
On the other side, Hashmatullah Shahidi also gave Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Haris, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Shadab Khan traditional clothing from Afghanistan.
The Afghan team management and Hashmatullah Shahidi were congratulated by the Pakistani players for their thoughtful gesture.
Moreover, lovely act of the Afghanistan captain was praised by online users, who argued that both cricket teams and neighbors should be united in peace, friendship, and love.
