Islamabad: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has denied the news of his arrest in the cypher case.
Talking to media representative in Islamabad, Asad Umar said that there was a false news about my arrest, adding that “I was not arrested by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)”.
He stated that he had come to the court in the case of cypher and filed bail before arrest in this case.
I have been involved in investigation twice in the case of cypher, added Asad Umar.
The former minister said that the case of the cypher will be proved clean.
It should be noted that FIA had arrested PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi from his residence in Islamabad in the past few days and on the same day the news of the arrest of former PTI Secretary General Asad Umar was also circulating.
