General Hun Manet elected as PM of Cambodia
Four-star General Hun Manet was elected by the new parliament.
Cambodia: Cambodia's newly elected parliament has elected four-star general Hun Manet as Prime Minister of Cambodia.
Four-star general, Hun Manat, 45, is the son of Hun Sen, who received his education in the United States and Britain.
Hun Sen is a Cambodian politician and former military commander, who has ruled the country for 4 decades.
His son has seen the country’s politics closely. The transfer of power from father to son is an important part of the country's political history; Han Manet had a clear advantage in the National Assembly.
