Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) committee was also aware of Zaka’s retirement from PPP post.


Lahore: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Zaka Ashraf resigned from the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and his membership.
According to details, Zaka Ashraf had resigned from the post of CEC and party membership on June 19, 2023. After retiring from political responsibilities, Shehbaz Sharif had also nominated Zaka Ashraf.
According to sources, Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) committee was also aware of Zaka’s retirement from PPP post. The facts have been ignored in the recent letter sent to caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar by IPC.
It should be remembered that IPC committee of the ministry has sent the summary of Zaka Ashraf's removal from the post to the Prime Minister's Office yesterday.
Notably, the former government approved the formation of a new management committee of PCB on July 5, 2023 and appointed Zaka Ashraf as its chairman.
