The incident of buses catching fire occurred close to the vegetable market in Sector I-11 of Islamabad.

Islamabad: A devastating fire broke out near the vegetable market in Sector I-11, reducing 6 buses to ashes.
The local police suspect that the fire was sparked due to a short circuit in the overhead electric lines.
According to the police, the dilapidated buses belonging to Nettco had been stationed near a petrol pump for quite some time.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene and managed to control the fire that had engulfed the buses.
However, despite their efforts, all 6 buses were completely burnt.
Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that the apparent cause of the fire in the buses was a short circuit in the overhead electrical lines, possibly related to a short circuit in the electric supply network.
