Kuwait City: A flight from Kuwait City bound for the Saudi capital, Riyadh, had to make an emergency landing due to a critical situation onboard.

The Jazeera Airways flight J9 223 took off at 6:00 AM and was en route to Riyadh when the aircraft was turned back after just a minute of flying.

According to aviation sources, the aircraft experienced an unusual situation shortly after takeoff.

While the plane was climbing to its standard altitude, around 28,000 feet, there was a disturbance in the hydraulic system, causing the aircraft to start descending rapidly.

Reportedly, the flight was extremely unstable, prompting the pilot to declare an emergency and follow air traffic control instructions to return to the departure airport.

The aircraft turned back approximately 23 minutes after takeoff.

As per flight radar data, the aircraft safely landed at Kuwait City's airport after descending to an altitude of 10,250 feet during a controlled approach.

Following the emergency landing, passengers were offloaded immediately.

After necessary checks and changes, the flight resumed its journey approximately three hours later, ensuring the safety and comfort of the passengers towards their intended destination.
