The father-in-law of Asad Shah was allegedly involved; police initiated an inquiry based on mother's statement.

Khairpur: Police have included Fiaz Shah, the father-in-law of the main suspect Asad Shah, in the investigation of Fatima's death case in Rani Pur.
According to sources, upon the request of the victim's heirs, Fiaz Shah, the father of Asad Shah's wife Hana Shah, has also been nominated in the case.
Police have revealed that the mother of the deceased girl has stated that Fatima was handed over to Fiaz Shah by Fiaz Shah's son-in-law, Asad Shah, who then left her at Hana Shah's house.
The victim's family alleges that Fiaz Shah, Hana Shah's father, is threatening them to withdraw from the case.
It remains evident that a few days ago, the medical board, which exhumed and performed the post-mortem of the 10-year-old Fatima who was tragically killed in Khairpur, had confirmed instances of sexual assault and physical violence against the minor employee in the preliminary report.
