Mumbai: A video message by the renowned and controversial Indian actress Rakhi Sawant is making rounds on social media platforms, in which she shares her excitement about going to Umrah (pilgrimage to Mecca) for the first time.
At the beginning of the current year, Rakhi Sawant tied the knot with businessman Adil Khan Durani and embraced Islam.
She had also observed fasts during the holy month of Ramadan last year.
In the video circulating on social media, Rakhi Sawant is seen wearing a hijab and modest attire while seated in an airplane.
In the video, the actress expresses that she is going to Umrah for the first time and is extremely delighted that her wish has come true.
Rakhi Sawant also conveys in her video message that she will pray for all her fans and requests them to remember her in their prayers as well.
It should be noted that Rakhi Sawant has been in the headlines lately due to ongoing public disputes with her ex-husband, Adil Khan Durani.
