Caretaker PM calls for utilizing mineral resources for cementing economy
Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar says exploration of mineral resources of Balochistan can be beneficial only if the province has better communication infrastructure.
Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar on Saturday said that Pakistan, especially Balochistan, has vast mineral resources which can be utilized for the strengthening of the national economy.
He was chairing a high-level meeting pertaining to ongoing development projects in Quetta on Saturday.
He said that exploration of mineral resources of Balochistan can be beneficial only if the province has better communication infrastructure.
He emphasized on the implementation of effective strategy to increase sources of income and employment opportunities in Balochistan.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar stressed on effective use of resources and minimum wastage.
Earlier, the Chief Secretary Balochistan briefed the Prime Minister about the proposed and ongoing development projects in the province.
