PPP insists ECP to conduct election in 90 days
The PPP leaders said: “We have raised our concerns with the Election Commission".
Islamabad: The delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), in a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner, insisted on holding the election within 90 days.
After meeting with Chief Election Commissioner in Islamabad, Nayyar Bukhari said that he has submitted his position to the Election Commission. He added that Election Commission can tell why they are confused.
The PPP leaders said: “We have raised our concerns with the Election Commission, told them that delimitation of constituencies does not take as much time as said”.
He stated that CCI has approved the census. When the seats are changed, constitutional amendment has to be done.
