The court ordered that the interior secretary inform the provinces about the details of cases against Imaan Mazari by Monday.
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday extended the order to prevent human rights lawyer Imaan Mazari from being taken out of the federal capital until Monday.
According to details, IHC Justice Mian Gul Haasan Aurangzeb heard the details of the cases against Imaan Mazari and the appeal filed for protective bail, in which the officials of Ministry of Interior appeared before the court.
The court ordered the Interior Secretary, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) not to take Imaan Mazari out of Islamabad.
Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan issued orders and extended the order not to arrest Mazari in any case after August 20.

At the beginning of the hearing, court inquired from the Ministry of Interior officials if they have called for the details of cases filed against Iman Mazari in the provinces.
On which the officials of Interior Ministry said that a case has been registered against Imaan in Islamabad, federal government cannot order the provinces in such cases.
Justice Mian Gul Hassan remarked what officials of Ministry of Interior talking about. The Assistant Attorney General said: “We have only asked to get information, the order was received late, allow some time”.
Lawyer Salman Akram Raja said that we doubt his client will be arrested again from outside the Adiala Jail.
The court inquired from the Assistant Attorney General about the instructions to the Ministry of Interior. The judge said that he is in jail, you should investigate, submit a challan and conduct a trial. I will not say anything regarding what should have been said to the court and what should not.
The judge asked assistant Attorney General to tell the interior secretary what is the court order in the case of Imaan Mazari. Later, the court adjourned the further hearing of the case till Monday.
It is pertinent to note that that yesterday (Wednesday) the IHC had stopped Shireen Mazari's daughter Imaan Mazari from being arrested in any case after August 20.
