National Economic Council to include 13 members, Prime Minister of Pakistan as chairman.


Islamabad: President Arif Alvi has given his approval for the formation of the National Economic Council (NEC).
The NEC will consist of 13 members, with the Prime Minister of Pakistan serving as the Chairman.
Chief Ministers of all four provinces are also part of the council.
Representatives from all four provincial governments have been included in the council, along with Punjab's Finance Minister, Hashim Jawan Bakht.
Sindh's Finance Minister, Younus Dagha, has also been included.
The representation from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the council will be Finance Minister Ahmed Rasul Bangash.
Balochistan will be represented by Finance and Revenue Minister, Amjad Rashid.
