Haris Rauf, in a remarkable display of skill, claimed four crucial wickets, while Naseem Shah contributed significantly with three wickets of his own. Shaheen Shah, Shadab Khan, and Iftikhar Ahmed also chipped in with one wicket each to further cement Pakistan's dominance on the field.
In the face of this relentless bowling onslaught, only a couple of Bangladeshi batsmen managed to make notable contributions. Mushfiqur Rehman showcased his skills with a resilient 64 off 87 balls, while Shakib Al Hasan added 53 runs off 57 balls. Unfortunately, none of the other batters could stay at the crease long enough to propel Bangladesh to a more competitive position in the match.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first in what promised to be a challenging encounter against Pakistan.
