Lahore: Sports Advisor Punjab Wahab Riaz has announced a prize money of Rs3 million for athlete Arshad Nadeem.
According to media reports, following the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the sports department has announced a prize money of Rs3 million for Arshad Nadeem.
Making the announcement, Wahab Riaz said Arshad Nadeem is working for the acceptance of all the national players. He is working to stabilize the sports sector on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister.
Wahab Riaz added that Punjab Endowment Fund is being released soon. The future of sports and athletes in Punjab is bright, all athletes should work with passion and dedication and Punjab government will patronize you.
It is pertinent to note that Arshad Nadeem has won silver medal in recent World Athletics Championship. His achievement is Pakistan's first medal in Athletics World Championship.
