Islamabad: Interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has convened a meeting of the apex committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
According to sources, the army chief, military leadership, federal ministers, chief ministers and chief secretaries will participate in the meeting.
There will be discussion at the meeting about important SIFC issues.
The recommendations of the SIFC Executive Committee and the meetings in Rawalpindi will be presented tomorrow.
The army chief will also address the committee members and a briefing will be given on investments coming from friendly countries and other matters. Important decisions are expected in the meeting.
The COAS will also speak before the committee, and there will be a briefing on foreign investments as well as other topics. The summit is expected to produce important decisions.
