Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,785 cases of coronavirus were reported while 118 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 18,915.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 858,026.
As many as 757,281 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,903 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 317,972 in the province with 9,032 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 291,668 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,726.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 123,842 in the province with 3,588 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 23,324 confirmed cases while 247 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 17,866 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 507. On the other hand, there are 5,380 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 77,974 cases in the capital city while 708 people have lost their lives.
