Shireen Mazari arrest: Contempt of court case against IG scheduled for hearing
Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb will hear the case against IG Islamabad.
Islamabad: The contempt of court case against Inspector General (IG) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan on the arrest of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari despite the court order has been set for hearing.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed the contempt of court case against IG Islamabad Nasir on September 28 for the arrest of Shireen Mazari despite the court order.
In this case, IG Islam has submitted an unconditional apology. The decision upon his apology will be proceeded in the next hearing.
Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb will hear the case against IG.
It is pertinent to note that court had also imposed a fine of Rs25,000 on IG Islamabad for arresting Shireen Mazari which was paid by the IG.
