Akash Chopra remarks 'When Shaheen starts running to deliver, we think he will hit the pads or get the batsman out'.

Delhi: In a recent commentary, former Indian cricketer and popular YouTuber Akash Chopra lauds Pakistan's fast bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, suggesting that he's making waves in the minds of Indian batters.
During the Asia Cup One-Day International on September 2nd, where Pakistan faced Sri Lanka at Palikele Stadium amidst relentless rain, India secured the toss and opted to bat.
Throughout the match, the rain played spoilsport, and in the end, it wasn't Pakistan or India but the rain that emerged victorious. However, Pakistani fast bowlers showcased their skills, leaving even former Indian players in awe.
In his YouTube channel commentary, Akash Chopra mentioned that due to the rain, the game concluded prematurely, but it's essential to discuss the Player of the Match, even if the match wasn't completed.
The former cricketer remarked, "It seemed like there were several contenders for the Player of the Match in this game. Players like Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya displayed a brilliant inning of 80 runs, taking India to a position where they could have competed. But my Player of the Match is Shaheen Shah Afridi."
Akash Chopra applauded Shaheen Afridi's performance during the match, highlighting his remarkable bowling skills.
He emphasized that Shaheen has an impressive pace, and he swings the ball effectively.
Chopra humorously added, "It seems like Shaheen is living in our minds rent-free because when he starts running in to bowl, I don't know what the Indian batters are thinking. It's as if his delivery will either hit the pad or get the batsman out."
