Asia Cup 2023: Rain disrupts high-octane Pak vs Ind clash

Colombo: Game was abruptly stopped owing to rain during a tense match between India and Pakistan at the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup as India had reached a score of 147 for two.

The opening combination of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill was successfully broken up by Pakistan's bowlers by the 20th over of the match, which was rife with excitement.

Despite these significant victories, it is now up to KL Rahul and Virat Kohli to continue building on the strong foundation the Indian squad has already set.

Earlier, Pakistan have won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in the ninth match of the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2023.
