Afridi can be seen congratulating Bumrah on the wonderful news, to which the Indian pacer responded with gratitude.

Colombo: Pakistan's fast bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi, extended warm congratulations to India's pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, on the birth of his child and presented him with a heartfelt gift.
In a touching video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Afridi can be seen congratulating Bumrah on the wonderful news, to which the Indian pacer responded with gratitude.
Afridi conveyed his best wishes, saying, "Bhai bohot bohot mubarak ho, yeh naye shehzade k liye. Allah usko hamesh khush rakhe aur naya Bumrah bane" (Many congratulations, Bumrah bhai, and to your wife. May Allah always keep your son happy, and may he become the new Bumrah).
Jasprit Bumrah, 29, had left the Indian cricket camp in Sri Lanka last Sunday to be with his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, in Mumbai for the birth of their child. Consequently, he missed India's match against Nepal last Monday.

The India vs. Pakistan Super 4 match in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 had to be called off due to rain. When the rain disrupted play, India had reached a score of 147/2 in 24.1 overs, with KL Rahul (17*) and Virat Kohli (8*) at the crease.
As no further action was possible on that Sunday, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli were set to resume India's first innings on the reserve day.
