I used to see people playing tape ball, so expressed my desire to play cricket with them: Zaman Khan.

Lahore: Zaman Khan, the national cricketer known for his pivotal role in the recent Asia Cup Super Four stage, has become a social media sensation.
His remarkable journey from working as a laborer alongside his father and brother to representing Pakistan in cricket has captured the hearts of fans.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared an interview with Zaman Khan on their social media platforms, shedding light on his incredible story.
Zaman Khan revealed that he used to labor with his family, where his father worked as a woodworker, and he himself toiled as a bricklayer in a kiln.
Zaman Khan's passion for cricket began when he saw people playing tape ball cricket on a local ground.
He approached them, expressing his desire to join in. Initially given an over, he bowled 12 consecutive white balls, but his determination led him to improve.
On the second day, he bowled the same over without a single white ball, igniting his ambition to become a fast bowler.
Narrating his journey, Zaman Khan mentioned that he participated in under-16 trials in Zaman Mirpur.
Despite facing a lack of family support, he persevered and made it through the trials, showcasing his potential as a fast bowler.
Recalling his struggles, Zaman Khan emotionally shared that he used to plead with his family to support him for the under-16 trials, even shedding tears in the process.
His dedication and hard work eventually paid off, leading to his selection.
Zaman Khan's career took a significant turn when he received the Best Emerging Talent award in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

He committed to working harder and excelling at the domestic level.
Throughout his journey, Zaman Khan always aimed to represent Pakistan and make his nation proud.
