Malaysian airline announces direct flights to Pakistan
The new route promotes both business and leisure travel opportunities while fortifying the airline's relations between the two nations.
Malaysian airline Batik Air on Sunday announced the launch of direct flights between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur commencing on 31 October 2023.
Batik Air launched expanded routes between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur in response to the spectacular success of its daily flights to Lahore. The airline will run three flights every week.
The new route promotes both business and leisure travel opportunities while fortifying the airline's relations between the two nations.
Batik Air and Lion Group's Group Strategy Director, Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, expressed his optimism for this dynamic route and said that the company is starting this journey with great enthusiasm by utilizing the successes they have already achieved by establishing their presence in Pakistan since March 2016.
“Much like our previous successful routes, we hold a strong belief in the prosperous growth of this Karachi connection, further enhancing the expansion of our network,” he said.
Given the warm response for Batik Air's Lahore route, he is confident that the airline's recipe for success—excellent service, affordable prices, and effective operations—will also be successful on the Karachi–Kuala Lumpur route.
