According to WASA, 77 mm of rain has been recorded in Lahore Airport area and 60 mm in Gulberg.


Lahore: Heavy rain hit different areas of Lahore early in the morning (Tuesday) that disrupted the heat intensity.
According to reports, it has been raining since early in the morning in many areas including Gulberg, Johor Town, Lakshmi Chowk, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore Airport, Model Town, Gulshan Ravi, Tajpura and Baghbanpura.
According to Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), 77 mm of rain has been recorded in Lahore Airport area and 60 mm in Gulberg.
Apart from this, it has rained in various other areas of Punjab including Faisalabad, Pakpattan, Kamalia and Kasur.
Meteorological Department stated that there is a possibility of rain in the lower areas of Sindh including Karachi today and tomorrow (Wednesday).
Meanwhile, there may be rain at a few places in Barkhan, Sibi, Zhob, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbela and Awaran. While rain is also predicted in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
