Govt appoints Zahoor Ahmad as Acting Managing Director PTV
The Acting MD PTV has been recommended a 10% increased charge allowance by the establishment division.
Islamabad: The interim managing director of PTV, Zahoor Ahmed, a BS-21 officer with the Secretariat Group, has been appointed.
The Federal Cabinet approved the appointment of Zahoor Ahmed through the circulation of the summary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Tuesday.
Moreover, the ministry prior obtained permission from the Election Commission of Pakistan before sending the summary to the federal cabinet’s meeting.
His appointment as Additional Secretary Incharge of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting made effect on August 30.
The Acting MD PTV has been recommended a 10% increased charge allowance by the establishment division.
