Pakistani batsman Muhammad Rizwan has given a message of unity of the team on his social media account X.

Karachi: Amid recent reports of a verbal altercation between Pakistan's cricket captain Babar Azam and fast-bowler Shaheen Afridi, wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan has taken to social media to share a heartfelt message promoting unity within the team.
Following Pakistan's loss to Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup a few days ago, rumors began circulating about a heated exchange between the team's captain Babar Azam, and Shaheen Afridi in the dressing room.
These reports were swiftly denied by senior players, who dismissed them as false.
However, Muhammad Rizwan has now posted on his social media account, leaving no room for doubt about his stance on team unity in the face of such news.
While Rizwan did not include any written commentary in his message, the post featured lyrics from a patriotic song that read, "Under the shadow of this flag, we are one."
Accompanying the lyrics were images of the team, leaving little doubt that Rizwan intended to convey a strong message of solidarity within the team in response to recent rumors of discord.
It's worth noting that Shaheen Afridi had previously shared a photograph of himself with Babar Azam, captioning it with the word 'Family.'
Additionally, Babar Azam attended Shaheen Afridi's wedding, further dispelling the rumors of a rift as the two players shared warm and cordial interactions.
