DPO Sialkot Hasan Iqbal said that journalist Imran Riaz Khan has recovered and reached his home safely.
It is pertinent to note that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team arrested Imran Riaz on his way from Lahore to Dubai in February this year. He was arrested for making a controversial statement.
Earlier, in July 2022, the immigration authorities had offloaded the anchor, who was on bail, for trying to go to Dubai from Lahore.
According to FIA, anchor Imran Riaz tried to go to Dubai from Lahore Airport, but as his name was in the blacklist, he was offloaded and sent back home.
