London: A 73-year-old woman actually died during a British Airways flight in London.
According to the report of the British news agency, the 73-year-old woman, whom fellow passengers and staff thought was sleeping peacefully in the seat, was found dead at the end of the journey.
Reports indicate that this flight was en route from London's Heathrow Airport to Nice, France, with a woman on board who appeared to be asleep, which raised suspicion among fellow passengers.
When some passengers tried to wake the woman, she was lifeless. The flight crew was informed, and doctors were called immediately. The woman was declared dead around 10 p.m.
According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that she suffered a heart attack during the journey, leading to her unfortunate demise.
Subsequently, the airline issued a statement expressing condolences and support for the family of the deceased female passenger during these difficult times.
Media reports have noted that the identity of the woman has not yet been ascertained.
