Mystery surrounds Imran Khan's shifting from Attock to Adiala Jail despite IHC orders
The lawyers of the PTI chairman also say that their client has been provided due facilities in the jail.

Islamabad: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been shifted from Attock to Adiala jail.
Advocate Sher Afzal Marwat and Naeem Panjota have confirmed the development, saying that he has also been provided the facilities.
Imran Khan, he said, was also provided all the facilities entitled to him being a former prime minister.
However, the jail officials said that they did not receive the IHC orders regarding Imran Khan's shifting to Adiala. The mystery still is there about Imran Khan's shifting despite clear orders of the Islamabad High Court.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq issued a directive on Monday, instructing the relevant authorities to transfer the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail.
This decision transpired during a hearing of a petition filed by lawyers representing the former Prime Minister, who sought the relocation of their client from Attock to Adiala Jail.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq pointed out that the PTI Chairman's legal status had experienced a change and inquired about the rationale behind his continued confinement in Attock Jail, while all other under-trial prisoners from Islamabad were housed in Adiala Jail.
The court also posed a query to Additional Attorney General Mansoor Iqbal Dogal, asking whether the PTI chief's trial could proceed if the government were to transfer him to Rahim Yar Khan jail.
As a result of these proceedings, the Chief Justice ordered the relevant authorities to transfer the PTI Chairman to Adiala Jail.
Additionally, during the hearing, the legal team representing the PTI Chairman requested the provision of an exercise machine, considering his background as a sportsman.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq stressed the importance of adhering to prison regulations, ensuring that the PTI Chairman receives facilities in accordance with his entitlement, and that none of his rights are violated.
