In his remarks, the senior politician expressed his unwavering commitment to open dialogue, a value he did not only hold himself but also imparted to his sons.
Chaudhry Shujaat advised his sons, Chaudhry Shafay and Chaudhry Salik, to consistently stand by the oppressed and oppose those who engage in oppression. He emphasized that this approach is in the broader interest of the country and its people, highlighting the need for politicians from all backgrounds to set aside their differences and work together.
Regarding the upcoming elections, the leader of the PML-Q suggested that while electoral matters are significant, the current challenges facing the nation should take precedence. He emphasized that addressing the immediate predicaments of the country should be the top priority.
Importantly, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain clarified that his statements were not meant as criticism of Parvez Elahi or any specific individual. Instead, he called on all politicians to set aside their disagreements and unite for the greater good of the nation.
