Cypher case: Imran, Shah’s judicial remand extended
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain extended the judicial remand of former Prime Minister Imran Khan till October 10
Islamabad: The special court in Islamabad Tuesday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and vice chairman Shah Mehmood in the cypher case.
According to details, Special Secret Act Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the cypher case against Chairman PTI Imran Khan in Attock Jail in which Imran’s legal team mmebers Latif Khosa, Naeem Panjhota, Barrister Salman Safdar and Umair Niazi appeared in the court.
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain extended the judicial remand of former Prime Minister Imran Khan till October 10 after hearing the cypher case.
On the other hand, PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was presented in the judicial complex in the cypher case, where the court staff attended him.
Later, the court extended Shah Mehmood Qureshi's judicial remand also till October 10.

The court ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to present the challan of this case at the next hearing.
After the trial, FIA team left the jail. Before the hearing, the attendance of former Prime Minister Imran Khan was marked. After the hearing, barrister Salman Safdar and Umair Niazi met chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf in the courtroom.
On the other hand, PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was presented in the judicial complex in the cypher case, where the court staff attended him.
Later, the court extended Shah Mahmood Qureshi's judicial remand also till October 10.
On this occasion, Shah Mehmood while talking informally to the journalists in the courtroom said that it is not known whether the ice has melted or not. Whoever is innocent should be released.
He added: “In 40 years of politics, there has never been any case against me for 39 years. I saw the courtroom in one year and was also declared a terrorist”.
The vice chairman of the party continued to say that transparent elections are the need of the hour and the only solution. If transparent elections are not held, the country will suffer an irreparable loss, people will lose faith in the present democratic system.
In the year 1971, I have seen the disintegration of Pakistan, today I am seeing the sinking of the country with my own eyes, stated Qureshi.
It should be remembered that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is imprisoned in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail.
