Reason why Gigi Hadid-Zayn Malik named their daughter 'Khai'
Hollywood superstars Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik at last publicised the name of their baby girl four months after her birth. Gigi took her official Instagram handle to make known the world that they had named the apple of their eye 'Khai'.

A source close to Gigi told that, “It’s not a huge surprise that Gigi decided to name her daughter 'Khai' because she selected that name in honour of her grandmother, 'Khairiah', who is her grandmother, Mohamed. Bella (Hadid)‘s middle name is 'Khair' so it’s sort of become a family tradition and a way to tribute their loved one. Also knowing that her grandmother came from royalty, it seemed fitting since Zayn’s last name means king.”

Apparently, the date on which the supermodel revealed has daughter's name also holds significance as the source added, “January 21st also held significance as to why it was such an important day to reveal name. It is considered a lucky day because it is a palindrome when the calendar numbers '12121' are written out so it seemed like the perfect time for them to share her name with the world.”
