Liaquat Khan, a retired Block Development Officer hailing from Noh District in Haryana, shares a special bond with Hasan Ali's family.
Hasan Ali and Samia Khan, Liaquat Khan's daughter, tied the knot in Dubai in 2019.
However, Samia has not yet had the chance to visit India since her marriage.
In a conversation with Indian media, Liaquat Khan expressed his deep longing to hold his granddaughter in his arms during the match in Ahmedabad.
He mentioned that his wife had traveled to Pakistan in 2021 to celebrate the birth of their granddaughter.
