Karachi: A passenger died in a flight from Muscat to Islamabad, due to which the plane made an emergency landing in Karachi.
According to details, after the death of a passenger in an Oman Airline flight from Muscat to Islamabad, the plane was taken off to Karachi in an emergency.
According to aviation authorities, Oman Air flight WY 345 took off from Muscat at 3:04 am local time for Islamabad.
The Boeing 737 aircraft was close to Hoshab in the airspace of Pakistan when one of the passengers of the aircraft became ill.
After receiving instructions from the air traffic controller, the pilot turned the plane towards Karachi and landed at Karachi at 5:36am.
Airport authorities told that doctors confirmed the death of the passenger named Basharat from Bagh area of Azad Kashmir, on examination after landing in Karachi.
Later, the body of the passenger Basharat was handed over to the airline staff at the Karachi airport. The flight took other passengers and left for Islamabad.
