Pakistan to play second match against Sri Lanka today
Pakistan has prepared hard for the match against Sri Lanka and practiced at the gym in Hyderabad Deccan.
Hyderabad: In the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's Cricket World Cup, Pakistan team will play its second match against Sri Lanka today (Tuesday).
According to details, team Pakistan will once again be in action in the Indian city of Hyderabad, Deccan, and this time it will be against Sri Lanka, the same team against which South Africa scored heaps of runs.
Pakistan has prepared hard for the match against Sri Lanka and practiced at the gym in Hyderabad Deccan.
According to media reports, in the second match of the mega event, the national team will enter the field with one change. Abdullah Shafiq will start the innings with Imam-ul-Haq instead of Fakhar Zaman.
It has also been reported that Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed will be part of the batting line-up while Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz will be the all-rounders and Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf will handle the fast bowling department.
The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will start at 1:30pm Pakistan Standard Time, before which England and Bangladesh teams will face each other in Dharamsala at 10:00am.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan defeated the Netherlands in the first match of the World Cup, while Sri Lanka was defeated by South Africa.
